We kind of already knew it – but Daniel Craig has finally confirmed that he will play James Bond for one final time in Bond 25 (actual title pending). Craig announced the news on US chat show, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
I’ll admit that I was unhappy when Craig was first announced as Bond back on 14 October 2005. It wasn’t who he was that caused my unhappiness, but the fact he was replacing Movies in Focus favourite Pierce Brosnan. I thought Craig was great in Casino Royale, but (going against the grain) I thought the film was lacking. However, each film got better and I think that Craig really hit his stride in SPECTRE (again contrary to popular opinion – but read my review to understand why). This is good news.
