Notebook Reviews: THE 6TH DAY

Roger Spottiswoode – 2000 

The 6th Day is an enjoyable sci-fi flick from Tomorrow Never Dies director Roger Spottiswoode. Arnold Schwarzenegger does what he does best, in this film which has echoes of Total Recall. 

It has its flaws – but this is still good entertainment. Spottiswoode seems to be in love with the film’s holographic images (they’re over used) but this has some good action beats. It could have been better – but it’s Arnold in action, so you can’t complain.
