Notebook Reviews: QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER

4 out of 5 stars

Simon Wincer – 1990

Simon Wincer‘s Quigley Down Under is an excellent western with a fantastic leading performance from the great Tom Selleck. It’s yet another film which showcases his talents and once again proves that he should have been a huge star on the big screen.

This off-beat western features a wonderful score from composer Basil Poledouris and a brilliant turn by Alan Rickman as the villain of the piece.

Quigley Down Under is first-rate entertainment and it’s highly recommended for western fans. Good fun!
