Barry Levinson – 2001
Bandits is an enjoyable comedy from Barry Levinson, but it’s somehow lacking that magic spark to make it a truly great one.
It’s a well made Hollywood production featuring good turns from Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton and Cate Blanchett – but I was hoping for more. Maybe it’s the love triangle aspect, or maybe Willis and Thornton should have switched roles – who knows?
Bandits is far from bad though – and the soundtrack is good.
