Amy Heckerling – 2000

This so-called comedy from Amy Heckerling is one serious ‘loser’ of a film. It has no charm, no comedy and no romance.

The characters are unlikeable and the plot and many of the elements are morally dubious. Loser is lacking in every aspect – although the soundtrack is quite good. 

There’s little to recommend here – even the always reliable Greg Kinnear is wasted and the plot meanders so much that it’s really hard to care what happens.

Skip the film, buy the soundtrack.
