New Images From MACBETH Starring Michael Fassbender And Marion Cotillard

Cineasts, culturalists and people with general good taste should be waiting with great anticipation for director Justin Kurzel’s screen adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

Roman Polanski’s version is usually seen as the definitive screen version of ‘the Scottish play’, but the casting of Michael Fassbender as Macbeth and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth make this new version essential.

Paddy Considine, David Thewlis and Sean Harris round-out the cast for the film which is set to hit screens in October. These newly released images show it’s going to be a classy affair. This should be great.
