Nautical But Nice: Tom Hanks Takes To The High Seas In GREYHOUND

History buff and A-lister Tom Hanks has written and produced Greyhound, a WWII action movie which seemingly plays to all his strengths.

This Aaron Schneider directed pic sees Hanks as the commander of a destroyer battling U-boats in the North Atlantic. The film is based on the 1955 novel The Good Shepherd by C. S. Forester

This looks good, but isn’t to too CGI heavy? It’s more Polar Express than Saving Private Ryan.

Stephen Graham, Elisabeth Shue and Karl Glusman co-star Greyhound which opens on 12 June 2020.
