Michael Douglas & Alan Arkin Go To Netflix For New Comedy Series THE KOMINSKY METHOD

Week by week it seems that Netflix continues to keep Movies In Focus as a loyal customer. Last week we got the teaser for Our Souls at Night and now comes the news that Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin will be joining forces with Two And A Half Men creator Chuck Lorre for The Kominsky Method. 

Here’s the dope from Deadline:

Written by Lorre, The Kominsky Method centers on Sandy Kominsky (Douglas), an actor who years ago had a brief fling with success and is now a revered Hollywood acting coach. Arkin plays his long-suffering agent and friend, Norman.

I’m there for Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin – but this 10-part series sounds like the perfect fodder for all my interests. Douglas is one of the Hollywood greats and The Kominsky Method is his first television series since The Streets of San Fransicso, which ran from 1972-1977. He’s wonderful at both comedy and drama, so I imagine that this will be a well balanced show with a lot of great character moments.
