It’s Official: Woody Harrelson Joins The Cast Of HAN SOLO Movie

It was rumoured, but now Woody Harrelson has officially joined the cast of Disney/Lucasfilm’s Han Solo Story (or whatever it’ll be called). The word on the street is that Harrelson will be playing a mentor to Alden Ehrenreich’s young Han Solo. Did he own the Millennium Falcon? Did he do the Kessel Run in less than 13 parsecs (don’t tell me, I know)?

Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke also star in the film, with the former playing Lando Calrissian, but I’m guessing Clarke isn’t playing Chewie.

The Star Wars website writes:

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody,” said the film’s directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. “His ability to find both humor and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”
