Irish Film Festival London 2021
The tenth Irish Film Festival London (IFFL) will take place in London from the 17 – 21 November 2021. Showcasing the best of Irish cinema, the festival’s main hub will once again be the newly refurbished Riverside Studios, as well as Bloomsbury’s Bertha Dochouse (within in the Curzon Bloomsbury) and Genesis Cinema in Mile End. Additional screenings will also take place online through a dedicated festival screening platform. The awards ceremony for IFFL 2021 will take place at the Embassy of Ireland in London’s Victoria on 19 November.
The festival opens on Wednesday 17 November with the Irish language thriller, Arracht and concludes with a screening of the Irish box office hit Deadly Cuts. Other films screening at the festival include Mark Cousins’ The Story of Looking, Phillip Docherty’s Redemption of a Rogue and Pat Collins’ The Dance. Exclusive online content includes Teresa Levine’s mother and baby homes documentary Untold Secrets.
