Way back in 1983 Kevin Costner was a struggling actor still looking for his big break. He was over-looked for a part in Adrian Lyne’s Flashdance but he did manage to score a role in this Lyne-directed advert for Apple’s Lisa computer.
1983 also saw Costner cast in Lawrence Kasdan‘s The Big Chill, but sadly he was cut from the film’s final edit. Two years later Kasdan repaid the debt and cast the actor in his break-out role in Silverado.
The rest is history.
