Don Cheadle Says Steven Soderbergh Is ‘Thinking About’ OCEAN’S 14

The great Steven Soderbergh‘s Ocean’s 11 turns 20 in 2021. The film now seems like a quaint piece of filmmaking, but it scored $450 million at the worldwide box office and spawned two successful sequels (Ocean’s 12 and Ocean’s 13).

Soderbergh’s trilogy featured George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Julia Roberts and a galaxy of other movie stars. Now comes word from Don Cheadle that Soderbergh has been talking abut making a fourth film in the franchise on the set of his most recent film, No Sudden Move

This is what Cheadle had to say about a potential Ocean’s 14:

“We were talking about it, and then Bernie passed, and very quickly we were like, ‘No, we don’t want to do it. But I just did a movie with Stephen and he said, ‘I think there may be a way to do it again. I’m thinking about it.’ And it didn’t go much further than that. But I don’t know; I don’t know who all would be in it. I imagine the main group of us would be in. It would be interesting to see.”

Bring it on!
