Director Rob Savage’s SALT Is A Well Seasoned Horror Short

Rob Savage’s horror short, Salt packs a hell of a punch in the space of just two minutes. The set-up is simple: Alice Lowe is the mother protecting her daughter (Beau Gadsdon) from an evil, salt-hating demon. The film plays out like the climatic moments of a much longer film and it’s no surprise that a feature version is in the offing. It’s tightly edited, great to look at and tense as hell (I first caught it at the Mayhem Film Festival).
