Déjà Vu: TOXIC AVENGER Remake On The Way
The word on the street is that Legendary Pictures has bought the rights to Toxic Avenger, Troma Entertainment’s ‘iconic’ hero. That’s all well and good, but haven’t we heard this news before?
Back in 2013 we were told that writer-director Steve Pink would be behind a new remake starring none other that Arnold Schwarzenegger starring and Akiva Goldsman producing (read about that version).
This new iteration of The Toxic Avenger is currently without a writer, director or star but the plan is to turn the character into a fully-fledged franchise.
We will see if that happens.
