DE PALMA Gets UK Distribution; Check Out The Poster And Trailer
Brian De Palma is an auteur, a man only interested in making ‘Brian De Palma movies’. Those movies may be filled with all sorts of excess and violence, but they’re unmistakably the work of one man’s singular vision.
Movies In Focus’ favourite De Palma pics: The Untouchable. Phantom of the Paradise, Sisters, Bonfire of the Vanities, Casualties of Wars, Blow Out, Mission: Impossible, Snake Eyes, Carlito’s Way and the totally nuts Body Double.
Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow have joined forces to bring us De Palma, a new documentary that delves into the life and mind of one of Hollywood’s great thriller directors. The film has now been picked up for UK distribution by A24 and Studio Canal. No UK release date is set – but the doc opens in the US on 10th June.
