Behind-The-Scenes Video Gives A Look At STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS; The Stars At SDCC

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit the San Diego Comic Con – and while J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm didn’t deliver a new trailer, they did drop a fantastic behind-the-scenes piece that bigs-up the practical effects and the passion from all involved. We also get to see that Simon Pegg does have a cameo in the film – check it out below:

Kathleen Kennedy, JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasden were joined on stage by the new stars of the series: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver and Gwendolyn Christie. However, the it’s old guard that makes The Force Awakens  exciting – and Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher also took to the stage.

Ford (who is looking great following his plane crash earlier this year) had this to say about returning to the galaxy that George Lucas created:

“It should have felt ridiculous. It was 30 plus years ago, and I sort of grew up. Yet here I was. I will tell you that it felt great.”
