The Fantastic Four reboot might just benefit from a darker aesthetic than the two Tim Story films from 2005 and 2007. Those movies made a lot of money but they didn’t connect with audiences in a way that a lot of superhero movies have recently, with many believing their tone was too childish.
20th Century Fox and director Josh Trank appear be going in the opposite direction with this franchise reboot. This new international trailer is atmospheric, but will the movie deliver the goods?
