Achieve Mysterious Depths With Images From New Thriller THE DARK BELOW

Director Douglas Schulze (Dark Fields/Mimesis/Hell Master) is back with The Dark Below. The mysterious film, which he produced with Kurt Eli Mayry is a ‘survival thriller that explores the fear of entrapment beneath a frozen lake’.

Douglas Schulze is a director who likes new challenges and The Dark Below looks like his biggest challenge yet. Veronica Cartwright and Lauren Shafer star in the film which was shot in Michigan’s Great Lakes in the dead of winter. These intense images show an authenticity that is often difficult to fake.
