Aaron Eckhart To Star In Real Time Thriller LIVE!

Hollywood doesn’t know what to do with Aaron Eckhart. That’s a damn shame because he’s a great actor, who has the potential to be a huge star. He may be play second-fiddle in big studio movies (The Dark Knight, Olympus Has Fallen) but in the independent arena he’s (rightfully) the leading man. He’s now signed to star in the new independent ‘real time’ thriller Live! – and it sounds like it has the potential to be a fun flick.

Here’s the synopsis:

Shot in real time, the original script tracks disgraced cop, Kyle Penny (Eckhart), on his hunt to rescue Police Commissioner Volk’s kidnapped daughter, trapped somewhere in the city with only 80 minutes to live.  A deranged killer on his heels, Penny’s only hope is teaming with Ava Brooks, an ambitious young online reporter who films the wild chase live.

Darrin Prescott and Wade Allen will direct from a script by Jeremy Drysdale, while Fubar Films will produce. The plan is to shoot in October.

Live! has Movies In Focus written all over it.
