Bryan Singer is the man who helped create the superhero genre with X-Men back in 2000. He returned to the franchise last year with X-Men: Days Of Future past, revitalising it by merging the original cast (including Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart) with the new (Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence). Singer is currently working on X-Men: Apocalypse and he’s released concept art of winged mutant Angel (to be played by Ben Hardy).
Ben Foster played the character in Brett Ratner’s much maligned (but really not that bad) 2006 franchise entry, X-Men: The Last Stand).
X-Men Apocalypse is set to open in Summer 2016.
