Sometimes a good cast can make a movie worthwhile – and The Prince has scored a great line-up. Jason Patric, John Cusack and Bruce Willis will star in the Emmett/Furla/ Oasis Films production, which will be directed by Brian A. Miller.
Here’s the synopsis from Deadline:
“Patric plays a retired Las Vegas mob enforcer who is forced to return to the city and face his former enemies when his teenage daughter goes missing. Bruce Willis was previously set to star in the film. He plays Omar, a man with a score to settle who has waited years for Paul to return.”
It’s getting tougher and tougher to get these mid-range movies made (and released) – The Prince has a budget of just $15 million, tiny by today’s standards. Movies In Focus is always up for a good thriller, so this might just fit the bill.
The Prince starts shooting in Mobile. Alabama next week and it will be release in the US by Grindstone/Lionsgate Films, while Hannibal Pictures will handle international sales.
More when it comes in.
