It’s official: House Of Cards will return – but without Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood (not a huge surprise).
Filming on the sixth (and final) season of the Netflix show will restart in 2018, with Robin Wright officially top-lining the series as the newly minted US President.
How they’ll write-out sex pest Kevin Spacey remains to be seen, but this final season will be just 8 episodes, down from the usual 13. The show was on a downward spiral anyway, as nothing was able to compete with that stonkingly good first season. However, it’s a shame that it was brought to its knees by Spacey’s unquenchable thirst to unleash the salami.
Movies In Focus will be tuning into this, but will always wonder how House Of Cards could have (and should have) ended.
